Awards (1st, 2nd, 3rd) will be presented in 21 categories. In addition there will be special awards for Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engine, Peoples’ Choice, Best In Show, and the Contest Theme (see info below). Along with the model car contest, participants and visitors will be able to shop in our vendor area. (See bottom of this web page for event flyer.)

Contest Theme: “Porsche”

Theme Information:
Our theme clebrates the 50th anniversary of Porsche’s first overall victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. (That’s the winning car on the left.) Any Porsche vehicle is eligible for the theme award.

A Note About Military Vehicles:
Military Vehicles are allowed in any appropriate category as long as they are wheeled-only. No fully or partially tracked military vehicles allowed (i.e. tank or half-track). However, fully or partially tracked civilian vehicles are allowed (i.e. bulldozer). In addition, military vehicles may not carry a canon/large caliber gun, nor are post-WWII non-truck based APC eligible. (Example: M-ATV good, Stryker bad.)

Admission Prices:
General Admission – $1
Adult Contest Entry – $10 for first 2 entries, $2 per each additional entry
Teens (13-17) – $5 for first 2 entries, $1 per each additional entry
Pre-Teens (12 and under) – $1 for all you can enter

Vendor tables are available for $25 each.
Sponsorships are available for $30 per category (1st, 2nd, 3rd) or special award.

8:00 AM to 9:30 AM – Vendor set up only.
9:30 AM to 5:00 PM – Show open to public.
9:30 AM to 1:30 PM – Contest entries accepted.
1:30 PM to 3:30 PM – Contest judging will take place.
3:30 PM to 4:00 PM – Awards Ceremony.
4:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Display and vendor break down.

Note from IPMS/USA: “In light of the current pandemic situation, please be aware that neither IPMS/USA nor its Chapters are liable for any potential transmission of illnesses. Those planning to attend this event should (a) follow existing safe social distancing recommendations and (b) abide by any local or state regulations regarding gatherings.”

Each person who enters models in the contest must fill out a Registration form. In addition, they must also fill out one Entry form per model. You can get and fill out those form at the show, or you can download the forms from here and fill everything out before you leave home. Forms are available below in PDF & Microsoft Excel formats. (Note that the Entry form download sheet contains 3 entry forms, as they are small.)
