At the January meeting it was decided that the club would participate in a group build for the 2021 IPMS Nationals which will be held in San Marcos, Texas. The theme we chose is “1970”. To join in, all you have to do is build a 1/24 or 1/25 scale street car, race car, pickup, or van from the 1970 model year. They can be box stock, highly detailed, or scratchbuilt. We need at least 5 completed models to compete.
A due date has not yet been set, but it will be well prior to the Nationals in 2020. Afterall, we can enter them in other IPMS shows in Texas, too.
(Note that each builder does not have to attend the Nationals. As long as one person can transport and enter them, all is well.)
