Contest Theme: “100th Running of the Indy 500”
Awards (1st, 2nd, 3rd) will be presented in 21 categories. In addition there will be special awards for Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engine, Best Short Track Racer, Best ’32 Ford, Peoples’ Choice, Best In Show, and the Contest Theme (“Indy 500” – see info below). Along with the model car contest, participants and visitors will be able to shop in our vendor area. (See bottom of page for event flyer.)
2016 will see the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500. Vehicles available for theme consideration include any car that ran in or attempted to qualify for an Indy 500, any Indy 500 Pace Car, or any official vehicle (IMS vehicle, Holmatro Safety Team, ambulance).
A Note About Military Vehicles:
Military Vehicles are allowed in any appropriate category as long as they are wheeled-only. No fully or partially tracked military vehicles allowed (i.e. tank or half-track). However, fully or partially tracked civilian vehicles are allowed (i.e. bulldozer).

General Admission – $1
Adult Contest Entry – $10 for first 2 entries, $2 per each additional entry
Teens (13-17) – $5 for first 2 entries, $1 per each additional entry
Pre-Teens (12 and under) – $1 for all you can enter
Vendor tables are available for $20 each, before July 8. From July 1 onward, they are $25 each.
Vendor tables are now sold out.
Sponsorships are available for $25 per category (1st, 2nd, 3rd) or special award.
8:00 AM to 9:30 AM – Vendor set up only.
9:30 AM to 5:00 PM – Show open to public.
9:30 AM to 1:30 PM – Contest entries accepted.
1:30 PM to 3:30 PM – Contest judging will take place.
3:30 PM to 4:00 PM – Awards Ceremony.
4:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Display and vendor break down.

Each person who enters models in the contest must fill out a Registration form. In addition, they must also fill out one Entry form per model. You can get and fill out those form at the show, or you can download the forms from here and fill everything out before you leave home for the show. Forms are available below in PDF & Microsoft Excel formats. (Note that the Entry form download sheet contains 3 entry forms, as they are small.)
